Developed in 1993, the Kurtistown farm is located at 900’ in elevation 12 miles south of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. We have 6 acres of land in which we have our home and approximately 50,000 square feet of covered greenhouse. We primarily grow intergeneric oncidinae, miltoniopsis, zygopetalum, paphiopedalum, masdavallia and vandas at this location. Year round temperatures range from 55-80 degrees with an annual rainfall of about 165 inches.

Developed in 1987 as a cut dendrobium orchid farm, the Kalapana Farm is located at 300 feet in elevation near the coast on the south east corner of the Big Island, 30 miles from Hilo. All of the cut flower fields have been converted to potted orchid plant production consisting of dendrobium,cattleya, vandas,and reed stem epidendrums. There is approximately 40,000 square feet in potted plant covered greenhouse and a 15,000 square feet shade house for hanging vanda production. Year round temperature range from 60-90 degrees with annual rainfall around 75 inches.
